You Throw Like a Girl
Melbourne International Comedy Festival Tickets
A sketch comedy show paying tribute to the game changing women in Aussie history.
Did you know the first Australian on the cover of Time magazine was a girl? Or that the first person to fly an aeroplane from Australia to South Africa was also... wait for it... a girl?
Aussie women have been slaying the game for yonks. Like that time Elizabeth Kenny introduced unconventional treatments for polio disease, or when Elizabeth Blackburn won a Nobel Prize for figuring out how DNA ages. No biggie.
YOU THROW LIKE A GIRL is 55-minutes of jam packed sketch comedy by two of Melbourne's funniest improvisers, celebrating some of the game changing women in Australia's history.
Because as it turns out, doing things 'like a girl' can be pretty awesome.
And now, after enjoying a sell out season at the 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Frankston City Council's 2020 International Women's Day event and various showcase events, YTLAG is returning for the 2026 Melbourne Comedy Festival and available to schools as a touring show complete with educational resources.
